Hi, I'm Mia (Genesia) Yoder.


I'm a photographer based in Hibbing, Minnesota (although I often travel to different parts of the state). My photography journey began as a pandemic hobby in 2020. When I had my first daughter in 2021, I became a stay-at-home mom, and had the perfect little model to practice on. What started as a hobby quickly grew into a passion, and by 2022, my professional photography journey began.


My photography style is warm and natural, focusing on genuine connections and the beauty of everyday moments. I strive to create timeless images that feel authentic and tell a meaningful story—whether it's a wedding, a maternity session, or a quiet family moment. Through soft, earthy tones and a mix of candid and intentional compositions, I aim to preserve the love, laughter, emotion, and even imperfection that make each story unique.

  • I’m a budgeting enthusiast . . . especially when it comes to finding great travel deals.
  • I’m a mama to two sweet girls and a wife to my best friend.
  • I bake with sourdough and love it, but I've yet to name my starter.
